It's All Downhill From Here

I am attempting to get into snowboarding since I live really close to 4 ski resorts. When I bought the boots, Torin was really excited. He wore them around for days. It was so funny to see him try to walk around with these giant boots on.

Maybe in a couple years I will get Torin some stuff and let him start snowboarding.

Way Late

This is almost a month late but I thought I should keep you updated. Gavin turned six months old on October 20. Here is some information for you to get to know him better:
  • He rolls over front to back and back to front
  • He actually enjoys being on his stomach now
  • He eats rice cereal, carrots, applesauce, peas and green beans
  • He absolutely loves Torin. Whenever Torin will look directly at Gavin, Gavin just laughs and laughs
  • He squeals. All the time. All. The. Time. It is hilarious
  • He has really blonde hair
  • He sleeps a long time at night but still not completely through the night *sigh*
  • His vision is developing really well
  • He loves his jumper
  • He is even cuter than the Gerber baby
  • He is just the sweetest little man

He is just the best.

I Must Be Insane

I have agreed to participate in the Wasatch Back relay race. It goes from Logan to Park City. It is 188 miles and it is running. There are 12 people on a team.

I have lost my mind.

Go HERE if you want to know more about my serious lapse in judgement.

AYSO

Most of you know I joined a soccer league. Here is a picture from this last Saturday. We are die hard. We played for two hours in the snow. It was the most fun I have had playing soccer. I hope it snows next Saturday.

Go hard or go home. That's my motto.

Back, By Popular(ish) Demand

Thank you all for replying. Sometimes I just feel like I am blogging to a wall. They never respond. I feel loved when someone leaves me a comment.

I need to get the pictures off my camera but until then I will tell you a little story.

Kim comes over almost every Wednesday night for movie night. Although we have yet to actually watch a movie, we still call it movie night. I really enjoy this time we spend together. It's lots of girl talk-y time.

This last Wednesday, Kim was telling me about a lesson that she had in her ward some time ago. It was along the lines of: "A woman never fully flowers until she is married and has children." Kim thought that this was a little condescending to a group of single women. It was also an interesting choice of analogy. Anywho, I told Kim not to worry that she had not yet "flowered". I told her that at least she had only not flowered-I had been pruned.

Analogies are fun.
