Naptime!

I wasn't feeling well Saturday morning so I took a nap. When I woke up everyone else was taking a nap.
Torin fell asleep watching a movie.Cilinda (my pseudo roommate) fell asleep because Torin was asleep.Gavin was asleep right next to me.
I really enjoy nap time.

New Hair...New Shoes

Ummm....so the title pretty much says it all. I got a new haircut and I got new shoes.The thing about these shoes is that they are so not my normal style. But this is a new me! I will boldly go where I never thought I would have before...you know...something like that. Anywho, I think they are sassy! And, yes, they are red. Thank you for noticing!

My little man

Both of Gavin's surgeries have gone well and I am very thankful for that. Thank you for all the prayers said on his behalf. Now he will be able to see.

New Cousin

So Christine FINALLY had her baby last Tuesday. It was a rough labor for her but everyone is doing good now. Her son was named Tyler Jefferson and he weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. I took the boys to meet him on Friday.
Here is a picture of Gavin and Tyler. It's funny to me that they are almost the same size and Gavin is a month older.
I thought this picture was hilarious because...well...it is.
And here is a picture of all the boys. Torin, Gavin, Tyler and Andrew. This was a difficult picture to take, if you can't tell by the look on Andrew's face. He was not having it.

These are the cutest boys in the world.By the way, Gavin's first surgery went well. Here's hoping the next one goes well.

Change

Some things have been happening in the last week and I will be going to Utah in three weeks to stay with my dad for an unspecified amount of time.

Taste Addison

This weekend was a festival in Addison called Taste Addison (hence the title of the post). It is four days long and many of the restaurants in Addison have booths for you to try food. There are also concerts and other vendor booths and magic/puppet shows for kids. We went last night as a family because one of my favorite bands was going to be playing that night. Bowling for Soup is a local band that has had several (national-I think) singles. Anywho-I love them and am glad we had the opportunity to see them.

Torin's Big Day

Last Wednesday, Torin turned 2! We did not do anything big on his birthday because I am planning on a party at the end of the month. We did go to the farmers market and he did get a balloon (which he is still carrying around). Happy Birthday my little man!

What's Wrong with YOU!?

I ask for suggestions from my loyal blog followers for Torin's birthday and I get nothing! YOU were no help at all! That's right....I am talking to YOU!

Bathtime?

Torin has just figured out that he can get in and out of the tub on his own. It is so funny to see him running down the hallway-stark naked-laughing like he has got the better of us.And his birthday is on Wednesday. I plan on having a birthday party for him closer to the end of the month, when Gavin is a little older, but I want to do something special on his birthday. Any suggestions? Preferably an outdoor activity.

Gavin is so cute when he is sleeping. Babies are so sweet when they are asleep.
